Job description

We are seeking a passionate, organised, and community-driven self-starter to join us on our mission. As the Community Manager, you’ll be at the core of everything we do, driving member engagement, building meaningful partnerships, and ensuring our events are more than just impactful, but transformative. You’ll play a vital role in shaping G.O.A.T Film Club’s future, keeping it a thriving, inclusive hub where film and TV professionals not only feel welcome but are empowered to make their mark and push boundaries in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Membership Management:

Be the first point of contact for G.O.A.T Film Club members, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and supported.

Manage membership sign-ups, renewals, and communications, keeping everyone engaged and informed about upcoming events, opportunities, and news.

Create and implement strategies to grow and retain our membership base both nationally and internationally, ensuring G.O.A.T Film Club continues to thrive.

Track member engagement and activity using CRM tools, event tracking platforms, feedback surveys, and social media insights to deepen relationships and optimise how we serve our growing community.

Community Engagement:

Foster a deep sense of belonging by creating meaningful touchpoints with members, ensuring they feel genuinely connected to the G.O.A.T Film Club community and its mission.

Design and deliver creative engagement initiatives, including tailored virtual meet-ups, thematic networking events, and exclusive online forums that promote collaboration and encourage knowledge sharing.

Engage proactively with members across social media and community platforms, driving dynamic conversations, offering support, and maintaining an energetic and inclusive atmosphere.

Monitor member feedback and sentiment through surveys and online interactions, using insights to shape and evolve the engagement strategy, ensuring the club continues to meet members’ needs and interests.

Brand Partnerships & Membership Benefits:

Cultivate and maintain brand partnerships that enhance the value of G.O.A.T Film Club membership, securing exciting, exclusive benefits for our members.

Work with partners to provide offers, services, and discounts that align with the needs and interests of our diverse community.

Develop relationships with external organisations to create sponsorship and collaboration opportunities that will propel G.O.A.T Film Club forward.

Events Organisation:

Work alongside the Founder to support the planning and execution of G.O.A.T Film Club events, including screenings, Q&As, masterclasses, and industry networking events that leave a lasting impact.

Work alongside filmmakers, venues, and partners to ensure seamless event delivery, promoting meaningful conversations and experiences.

Track and analyse event data to drive continuous improvement, learning from feedback and attendee engagement to ensure future events shine even brighter.

Key Skills & Experience:

A passionate, driven individual with proven experience in community management, event planning, or membership coordination, ideally within the film, TV, or arts sectors.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effortlessly build strong relationships and engage with a diverse membership base.

Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with a track record of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments.

A data-savvy problem solver, experienced in tracking and analysing member engagement and event performance to drive informed, strategic decisions.

Proficient in using CRM systems, event management tools, and digital analytics platforms to manage membership data and optimise community engagement strategies.

A creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain impactful brand partnerships that deliver tangible benefits to members.

A collaborative team player, able to work closely with the Founder and external partners to achieve shared goals.

Adaptable and innovative, with the ability to adjust to evolving community needs and industry trends, ensuring G.O.A.T Film Club stays ahead of the curve.

A true passion for film and TV, coupled with a commitment to making a meaningful impact by elevating underrepresented voices in the industry.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary reflective of your skills and experience, with opportunities for growth as G.O.A.T Film Club expands.

The chance to be part of a forward-thinking, socially conscious organisation that is actively reshaping the film and TV industry for the better.

A dynamic, fast-growing team where your ideas aren’t just heard, they’re valued, and you’ll have a real impact on the future direction of the club.

Hybrid working arrangements that offer flexibility while ensuring you remain connected with our London-based team and events.

The unique opportunity to work with some of the most exciting, diverse, and emerging talent in film and television, fostering creative collaborations and lasting industry connections.

The chance to help shape the future of G.O.A.T Film Club, from building its membership to influencing programming and contribute to the industry’s evolution towards inclusivity and diversity.
