Job description

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

As a HR Officer, you will be responsible for the full range of HR activities, including workforce planning and recruitment. You will support managers in dealing with staffing issues effectively and implementing process improvements to enhance the service we provide. You will be a key member of our busy, solution-focused HR team, working with colleagues across the service on both "business as usual" and strategic HR initiatives. Alternatively, you may work with one of the University’s major change programmes, supporting new ways of working.

You will bring a strong commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement. You will act as a champion of good HR practice and be able to coach and challenge as required. As an experienced professional, you will be adaptable and comfortable responding to competing demands.
