PRODUCTION OPERATIVE – 12 Month Fixed Term
Job summary
A leading manufacturing firm in Shenstone is seeking a Home Production Operative for a 12-month fixed term role. You will be responsible for setting filling machines, packing products, and contributing to safety and quality standards. The position offers a salary of £26,749, plus generous benefits including 25 days holiday and private health care. Ideal candidates will have a positive work ethic and enjoy routine tasks, with experience in mechanical handling preferred but not mandatory.

We’re looking for a Production Operative to join us on a fixed term basis for 12 months. The hours are 7.30am – 4pm, Monday to Friday.
1 in every 2 vehicles in the UK are cleaned using Autosmart products, so you can take pride in knowing the products being used were prepared by you.
- Set filling machines to product weight specifications
- Fill containers with products to daily production schedules
- Wrap and pack products securely on to pallets
- Stock control and rotation
- Assist in the labelling production process
- Update company IT systems
- Promote and follow safety first company values

- Previous experience operating mechanical handling equipment, including powered pedestrian pallet trucks and counterbalance forklift trucks would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Salary: £26,749 (£12.86ph)
- Location: Shenstone, Staffordshire
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (33 days)
