Qualifications

  • Ability to read engineering drawings is essential.
  • Mechanical fault-finding skills are necessary.
  • Experience in heavy industry like marine or automotive.

Responsibilities

  • Install pumps, valves, and pipework as a Mechanical Fitter.
  • Carry out general mechanical fitting tasks in the build hall.
  • Interpret technical drawings and apply torque settings.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience applying torque settings accurately
Proven fault‑finding skills in mechanical systems
Background in heavy industry
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment

Education

Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
