Job description
Overview

Pfizer provides you with the opportunity to work with experts in the pharmaceutical industry and has a wealth of opportunities across a variety of departments. Through working in the Medical Affairs and Medical Operations teams you can develop critical academic and business skills and be a valued team player.

Responsibilities will include involvement in projects involving patients across Pfizer, working with other UK cross-functional teams where appropriate, upskilling colleagues in best practice, assisting the team with key projects and deliverables aligned with operating plans, communication and implementation strategies, and developing website and social media content. Process review and simplification projects across Medical Affairs will also be part of the role.

This will involve collaborating with other trainees and colleagues in various projects. You will also have opportunities to attend conferences, meetings, and training related to the projects you work on, as well as participating in Pfizer schemes such as volunteering.

Start date and duration
Placements will start on 1 September and will run for 12 months.

  • Completing placement as part of University Degree either through Year In Industry/Industrial Placement or Gap Year
  • On target for a Degree
  • Classification in a health or science related field
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about patient involvement and the benefits of this

Applicants must be completing placement as part of a degree course at a UK University, either through Year in Industry/Industrial Placement or Gap Year.
