Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Market Research | Business Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, analyzing market data, and establishing relationships with clients. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and experience in business development and market research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish channels for sales leads and develop a segmented client database.
  • Compile weekly sales plans and reports, tracking suspects, prospects, and materialized business.
  • Identify and build partnerships with volume and strategic customers.
  • Lead business development projects related to new/existing industries, technologies, or services.
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and develop strategic direction.
  • Prepare comprehensive market analysis presentations.
  • Manage key accounts and maintain strong client relationships to ensure business retention and growth.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints promptly.
  • Drive business growth through customer acquisition, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company credit policies and safeguard revenue collection in collaboration with the finance department.
  • Achieve assigned revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Develop technical and specialized reports and presentations on transportation performance for higher management.

Selection Criteria

  • A degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales and business development, preferably in the research industry.
  • Proficiency in business and technical aspects of market research.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to close deals.
  • Proven experience in writing proposals in both English and Arabic.
