Founded in 2007 by childhood friends Olivier Bon, Pierre-Charles Cros, and Romée De Goriainoff, and joined by Xavier Padovani in 2010, Experimental has redefined the codes of hospitality by offering a unique experience of contemporary elegance and warmth to a discerning international clientele.

Renowned for bringing the cocktail bar culture to Paris, the group now operates cocktail bars, wine bars, restaurants, and, since 2015, hotels.

Over the years, its destinations have expanded from major European capitals such as Paris, London, and Rome to more seasonal locations like Ibiza and Menorca in the summer, or Verbier and Val d’Isère in the winter. The group also has properties in Venice, New York, Biarritz, and the Cotswolds.

Experimental service philosophy is built around three core principles: the quality of the products, the precision of the service, and the genuine warmth of our welcome.

ABOUT EXPERIMENTAL ROMA

Opening in mid-2026 on Via Ludovisi, just off the legendary Via Veneto, Experimental Roma will be a vibrant and cinematic new destination from Experimental group.

Housed in a former bank, the hotel has been transformed by interior designer Rodolphe Parente into a space that embodies the essence of la dolce vita: elegant, timeless, and irresistibly Italian.

The property will feature 82 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and a spectacular rooftop with a suspended pool offering breathtaking views over the magnificent cityscape of Rome.

ABOUT THE JOB

Reporting to the General Manager, you oversee the daily operations of the Front Office (Reception, Concierge, and Reservations) and are responsible for ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience throughout their stay.

As a true ambassador of Experimental, you embody the brand’s standards of excellence and contribute to guest satisfaction, and overall service quality. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Operational Supervision
  • Oversee the smooth daily running of all Front Office operations, in close collaboration with the General Manager and F&B Manager.
  • Ensure effective communication between all hotel departments and external partners, including the outsourced housekeeping service.
  • Welcome guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and ensure a personalized, memorable experience.
  • Represent the hotel and the Experimental spirit through exceptional service, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Guarantee compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
Guest Experience & Relations
  • Ensure all services meet the brand’s standards of quality and consistency.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints with tact, empathy, and efficiency.
  • Monitor guest reviews across platforms, analyze results, and implement improvement actions.
  • Foster guest loyalty and contribute to the reputation and visibility of the property.
Financial & Administrative Management
  • Optimize the operational efficiency and cost management of the Front Office.
  • Support the GM and Revenue team in monitoring key performance indicators (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, upselling, etc.).
  • Supervise ordering, inventories, and supplier relationships related to your departments.
Team Leadership & Human Ressources
  • Recruit, train, and develop Front Office team members to maintain high service standards.
  • Organize schedules according to business needs and seasonality.
  • Promote a positive and motivating work environment that encourages engagement and long‑term retention.
Cross-Department Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Commercial and Marketing teams to support the hotel’s revenue and guest experience strategy.
  • Coordinate with outsourced service providers (especially housekeeping) to ensure operational excellence and service continuity.
