About the location

The Erskine Arms is a traditional Georgian pub with rooms nestled within the medieval walls of Conwy a stone’s throw from King Edward I’s imposing medieval fortress, Conwy Castle.

The Erskine’s slightly austere exterior hides a warm and relaxed interior. With chunky old furniture, rugs and open fires, exactly what you’d want from an old Welsh pub. The Erskine offers a laid‑back and friendly atmosphere serving fresh and creative local food, great local ales, a glass or two of good quality wine and for those from further afield, quality cosy guest rooms.

Job Description

We're looking for a hardworking, punctual and reliable person, who’s happy to muck in and help the team where needed. Our KP’s play a very important role within the kitchen, supporting our team of talented chefs. We offer plenty of opportunities for career progression within the group so this could be an ideal opening for someone who is interested in learning some of the basic skills needed to become a chef.

What we're looking for:

Main responsibilities include:

  • Keeping kitchen areas and equipment clean and sanitized
  • Supporting the kitchen team

Previous experience in a similar position is very much preferred, but as long as you’ve got the right attitude and are willing to work hard, we’ll happily show you the ropes and give you all the training you’ll need to do the job.
