Job summary
An award-winning home care provider in Brighton is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join their team. In this role, you will provide essential personal care, medication support, and companionship to clients. The provider emphasizes flexibility in work hours and ongoing training, offering positions for both full-time and part-time. Ideal candidates will be caring, reliable, and professional with the right to work in the UK. A DBS check will be facilitated, and opportunities for career growth are available.

Skills
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Hours: Typically 7:00am – 2:30pm or 2:30pm – 10:00pm
Location: Brighton (North, Central & Surrounding Areas)
Contract: Full-time or Part-time (flexible hours available)

We have ongoing opportunities for male and female carers to provide person-centred home care, supporting clients with personal care, medication, mobility, meal preparation and companionship. Same hours each day are encouraged for continuity, but we can often accommodate flexibility.
- Personal care (washing, dressing, continence) with dignity and respect
- Medication prompts and accurate record-keeping
- Meal preparation and hydration support
- Moving & handling (training provided)
- Companionship and wellbeing checks
- Electronic care records, safeguarding and escalation
- Caring, reliable and professional communicator
- Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship)
- Enhanced DBS (we guide you through the process)
- Drivers and non-drivers welcome; most routes are walking
- Free bus pass or 40p per mile mileage allowance
- For some packages, male or female carers are required to maintain client dignity and safety (genuine occupational requirement under Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9)
