Your Role

Your Responsibilities
- Complying with all relevant legislation and agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal working environment and consistent quality standards.
- Maintaining and promoting a positive image of Kuehne+Nagel Government and Defence.
- Safe driving standards and positive driver behaviours.
- Following all delivery, collection, and returns procedures.
- Maintaining and managing company equipment.
- Responsible for the security of the vehicle and load at all times.
- Reporting vehicle defects and ensuring that the defect is documented.
- Complying with Driver’s regulations and Working Time Directive in line with the O License legislation and Company procedures.
- In addition to these duties, you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business, where appropriate training is provided.
- Ensuring all documentation is completed as per company procedure.
- Following all housekeeping tasks as required.
- Monday to Friday working week.
- Flexibility as working overtime will be required, including some weekend work.
- Flexibility as nights out may be required.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Must hold a current class C+E licence.
- ADR Class 1-9 – Less 7.
- Basic numeracy and conversational English language.
- Hold a valid driver qualification card.
- Preferred 2 years driving experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Customer focused.
- Desire to succeed.
- Experience of working within a team.
- Experience of Health & Safety.
