A national charity organization in the UK is seeking a trustee with PR and media experience to lead communication efforts. This voluntary role involves providing strategic leadership, ensuring strong PR impact, and championing the charity's work to improve the lives of beneficiaries. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a commitment to the charity's cause, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals affected by muscular dystrophy.
MHF is seeking a new trustee with experience in PR/Media to lead our communication efforts as the charity moves closer to realising its current mission (set in March 2003) and then beyond this milestone with a newly refreshed mission.
As a trustee with PR experience, you will have strategic responsibility for PR. You will help ensure our board can contribute to MHF’s PR impact & storytelling as we move through & beyond our original mission. You will have an opportunity to help improve the lives of our beneficiaries & their families. You will also contribute to the overall governance of our small national charity.
MHF Trustees provide strategic leadership in line with the organisation’s objectives. Trustees use their knowledge, skills, passion & experience to ensure the charity achieves its objectives. You will represent the interests of all stakeholders & act as an Ambassador. A key role that will help ensure we continue our support for vulnerable children, young people & adults (8-35yrs) with muscular dystrophy in the UK.
