Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in Northern Ireland is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer for a hands-on role that offers exposure to CNC programming and CAD interpretation. The position requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering and ideally a year of relevant experience. This temporary opportunity starts immediately and involves supporting R&D projects and producing engineering drawings.
Qualifications
- Ideally, 1 year placement or relevant manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Interpret customer drawings/CAD models for project costing.
- Create and optimise CNC programs for 3-axis routers.
- Produce engineering drawings (incl. GD&T).
- Support R&D projects and assist with IT/ERP activities.
Education
MCS Group is working with a leading manufacturing company in Bangor to recruit a Graduate Mechanical Engineer. This is a hands‑on role offering exposure to CNC programming, CAD interpretation, R&D project work, and wider engineering operations.
This is a temporary position, offering an immediate start.
