Job description

• Salary: £27378 PA (£13.50 p/hr) with Overtime at £20.25 per hour
• Working hours are 39 hours per week - alternative hours would be considered.
• Permanent, Full-time position - Immediate Start
• Location: Great Gransden - Own transport required due to location (No Public Transport available)

We are seeking a Factory Cleaner / Industrial Cleaner to work in an engineering company, cleaning the factory and office areas. The Factory Cleaner will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that the site is kept clean and tidy at all times.

Duties will also include full deep cleaning of industrial cooking equipment, which happens after live client demonstrations and these occur approximately once or twice per month.

Cleaning Duties:

• Emptying domestic rubbish bins.
• Cleaning staircases and handrails.
• Regularly clean and disinfect restrooms.
• Hoovering carpeted areas.
• Clean and dust furniture, ledges, light fixtures, and other hard-to-reach places.
• Sweep, mop, and polish factory floors.
• Assist with other duties as required by the Engineering Manager.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Own transport is recommended due to the rural location of the factory with no public transport.

Hours:

Full Time: 39 hours per week - No weekends - alternative hours would be considered.

• Wednesday/Thursday: 7.30 am - 5.00 pm
• Friday: 7.30 am - 12.00 mid-day
