Job description

Job Title: Residential Care Worker 🧡

Location: Bradford (BD4)

Salary: £32,005.56

Working Hours: 8am-4pm (Mon - Fri)

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: Young People – EBD, challenging behaviour, emotional difficulties

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce or equivalent / or willingness to work towards Level 3/4

Experience in Years Desired (not essential): Experience with challenging children in a residential setting

Vacancies: This service is hiring 3 x Residential Care Workers 🙌

The Home: 🏡
  • Number of Beds: 2-bed home with 2:1 staffing OR 2:1 staffing arrangements

  • Type of YPs: EBD, challenging behaviour, emotional difficulties

  • Ratio of staff to children: High staffing ratios (2:1)

❗ Mandatory Requirements (Role-Specific)

As this position is a Residential Support Worker role, the following must be added:

Do NOT apply for this role if any of the following apply to you:

  • You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car.

  • You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care – this is not deemed equivalent.

  • You have only Healthcare, NHS, CQC or Nursery Practitioner experience.

  • You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available.

➡️ Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered.
