Site Engineer – Civil Infra for HS2 (Flexible Hours)
Job summary
A high-speed railway construction project in Coventry is seeking a Civil Engineer to ensure smooth project flow and adherence to strict schedules. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, developing compliance procedures, and overseeing surveying activities. Ideal candidates are degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, have experience with large infrastructure projects, and a valid CSCS card. - Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with previous site engineering experience.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
- Competent in setting out techniques using levels, EDM, and GPS.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all permits are obtained prior to works commencing.
- Managing subcontractors and coordinating with site sections.
- Developing, approving, and reviewing procedures and risk assessments.
- Overseeing setting out and surveying activities.
- Liaising with the client to ensure accurate design drawings.
