A UK-based IT consultancy firm is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Lincoln. This field-based role involves supporting both internal and external IT projects, with frequent travel across the UK and occasional overseas trips. Candidates should have comprehensive experience with Windows Server, network protocols, and server hardware installations. Our Digital Services Group (DSG) is a diverse business unit that provides a full spectrum of digital capabilities and is responsible for satisfying the technological requirements of the most secure settings. Reporting to our IT Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your abilities and expertise to work alongside our small team of IT network and infrastructure engineers in supporting both internal and external projects.
You will be based at our Cambridgeshire Head Office, but this is primarily a field‑based role with regular UK travel and occasional overseas travel, depending on customer location.
This role will contain some elements of On Call dependant on project requirements.
