A leading educational institution in the UK is seeking a Timetable Officer for a fixed term of 2 years. This role involves supporting a significant project to modernise the timetabling system, enhancing room utilisation and overall experience for students and staff. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and organisational capabilities to meet high-pressure deadlines accurately. The Registry Services Directorate has an exciting opportunity for a fixed term 2-year Timetable Officer who will enable business to continue as usual alongside project operations. The University has commenced a significant transformative project to replace its timetabling system which will modernise our approach to timetabling with anticipated improvements in room utilisation and student / staff experience.
The Registry Services Directorate fulfils an essential role in supporting the University’s delivery of high-quality learning opportunities to its students by managing a range of central services for students and staff. The Registry Services Directorate comprises 12 teams – Research Degree Student Services, Exams & Graduate Services, Timetabling, Systems, Student Visa Compliance and Advice, Student Records, Course Records, Partnership Records, Fees & Funding, Statutory Reporting, Ask and Apprenticeship Operations.
You should have a proactive and professional approach, excellent interpersonal skills, effective organisational capabilities, and an ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in the use of information technology, and with an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy, you will also demonstrate the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
