A leading contract manufacturer in the UK is seeking an R&D Scientist specialized in cell culture for an 18-month contract. You will deliver technical solutions for innovative cell culture processes, ensuring scientific rigor and compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates will hold a BSc in Life Sciences or Biotechnology, with a preference for those possessing a PhD. This role requires excellent skills in experimental design and adherence to safety protocols, and it offers £22 to £24 per hour.
Our client is a leading contract manufacturer through the development and optimization of new mammalian cell culture technologies. This lab-based role delivers technical solutions for the next generation of cell culture processes that meet industry demands and maintain our client as a global supplier.
The role will work closely with the upstream R&T team to plan and execute several complex (non-routine) experimental programs simultaneously. Generate experimental results and review respective scientific documentation. Responsible for ensuring that studies are scientifically sound and in line with current regulatory guidance and expectations. Help with ensuring lab procedures are adhered to and supports safety assessments. Candidates will be qualified in BSc in Life Sciences/Biotechnology. Preferred: PhD in Life Sciences/Biotechnology.
£22 – £24/hour
