Job summary

An educational organisation based in Manchester is seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to lead on inclusion practices and provide psychological assessments. This role involves direct assessment and intervention, alongside collaboration with families and external professionals to ensure tailored support for students. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in working with children and young people with special educational needs, along with a strong commitment to promoting emotional wellbeing and inclusion across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead inclusion initiatives and influence whole-organisation practice.
  • Experience in alternative provision, special education or therapeutic settings.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance, e.g., SEND code of practice.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth psychological assessments to understand students' needs.
  • Design and implement interventions for students' personal development.
  • Work with key stakeholders to enable inclusive practice.
