A leading children's care provider is seeking a Registered Manager for their new home in Chorley. You will lead a dedicated team in delivering high-quality, child-centred care, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations. The ideal candidate has a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and senior-level experience in ofsted-regulated care. This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 – £60,000 along with an annual performance bonus.

📍 Location: Chorley, Greater Manchester
👧 Service Users: Children aged 7–18 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
🕒 Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
💰 Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 DOE + up to £5,000 performance bonus
🌴 Annual Leave: 6 weeks + statutory bank holidays
🚫 Sponsorship: Not available
⚠️ Note: Applicants must have experience managing Ofsted-regulated children’s homes. CQC-only experience will not be considered.
The provider is entering an exciting growth phase, with their second children’s home opening soon in Chorley. The current dual-registered manager will move into the Responsible Individual role, opening the opportunity for a new Registered Manager to take the reins and lead the Chorley team.

You’ll lead the daily operations of the home, ensuring high-quality, child-centred care and compliance with Ofsted regulations. You’ll also foster a positive team culture and champion therapeutic approaches to care.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential:
🎓 Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care & CYP Services (or working towards it)
🚗 Full UK manual driving licence
🏠 Senior-level experience in Ofsted-regulated children’s residential care
🗣 Strong leadership, decision‑making, and communication skills
