Join our Team as a Water Project Manager

Location: Waterlooville, Hampshire

Job type: Full-Time, 37.5hrs per week, Flexible Hours

Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Due to a full order book for 2024/2025, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Project Manager to work in our Water/Wastewater Sector.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects in the water/wastewater industry of our two main major water customers in the South. The water/wastewater team is made up of the Sector Project Manager, Project Managers and Engineers.

♂️ What You’ll Do:
  • Responsible for project delivery of your assigned projects. Ensuring all projects follow the full project lifecycle, are fully tested, delivered on time, to budget and agreed specification/standards, and reviewed for continuous improvement.
  • Assist the Sector Project Manager to review and manage internal standards and procedures, along with monitoring national and international standards to ensure business standards and procedures remain current.
  • Contribute to all aspects of sales activity for the sector, covering order bank management, customer management, surveying, and quoting.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness, by examining, negotiating, and overseeing contracts with both customers and subcontractors.
  • Responsible for maintaining good working relationships with our existing customer and supplier accounts.
What you bring:
  • Understanding of the full project life cycle, with demonstrable experience.
  • Experience/Understanding in system integration
  • Demonstrate commercial experience and contract management
  • Excellent time management skills and be able to demonstrate a structure and methodical approach to workload.
  • Experience of delivering projects, preferably PLC/SCADA in the water/waste water sector.
