Yourgene Health is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Manufacturing Technician with the skills and experience to assembly and manufacture the company’s product consumables. Our assembly lines consist of several pieces of automation equipment, which the successful candidate will learn to operate independently.

Overall responsibility: To manufacture a variety of DNA based IVD kits and components to demanding quality specifications.

• Dispensing of liquids using automated equipment.
• Operate and maintain essential equipment to a high standard to ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations and recommendations governing safety, health and environmental standards.
• Ensure supply of products on time, cost efficiently and to the required regulatory standards and product specifications to ensure business and customer needs are met.
• Execute the manufacturing plan according to scheduled works orders and following standard operating procedures
• Packing and labelling of reagents into kit form
• Developing a culture of continuous improvement within the department.

• HND / Degree in an appropriate Biological Science or 2 years experience in lab or automated manufacturing environment
• Understanding of GMP principles
• Stock Control experienceMethodical and organised approach to work
• Computer literate with competence in MS Office
• Experience working with automated liquid handling systems
