You will be expected to demonstrate proactivity, leadership and people management skills in order to ensure that we deliver an efficient commercial and contractual management service to company projects.You’ll be involved with all aspects of the project lifecycle from tender to completion, inputting into pricing and seeking to minimise the costs of a project/ enhance value for money, whilst achieving the required standards and quality in accordance with contract and client expectations. Working under the direction of, and reporting to a more senior project manager, the role will offer you the chance to develop and help grow the team’s services, thought responsibilities including:* Producing project programmes and disseminating information.* Dealing with day-to-day queries from site and technical teams and ensuring they are adhering to the scope and specifications of the project.* Reporting to project teams on progress against programme and budget.* Undertaking the efficient and effective management and issuing of accurate, timely and compliant notices and correspondence.* Ensuring contractual and commercial risks and opportunities are identified to the Contract Leader at pricing stage.* Preparation and agreement of applications for payment or the assessment & preparation of payment certificates.* Maintaining registers of variations, delay, extension times and claims.* Assist in change management and cost control.* Assist with preparation of monthly progress valuations and claims for work completed.* Assist in the production of monthly cost reports and forecasts.* Produce pre-contract tender reports.* Review value management and advise on risk management.* Understanding the implications of health, safety and environmental regulations.* Ensure all health, safety and environmental risk situations are brought to the attention of the senior project manager.* Carrying out regular site visits to inspect quality of work and compliance with the plan, where required.* Contribute to securing opportunities and repeat clients due to the exceptional service delivered.SLR are global leaders in Sustainability Solutions, helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals.
