Job summary
A prestigious hospitality group in Windermere is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to manage their kitchen section while ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene. With a focus on career progression, you will work in a dynamic environment in a luxury hotel setting. The role offers competitive hourly pay between £11.85 and £12.40, full-time work, and numerous benefits including additional holiday days and training courses.

- Run an organised and efficient kitchen section.
Skills
Lakeside Hotel & Spa on the Southern shores of Windermere (1 mile from Newby Bridge) owned by Classic Lodges. The hotel offers 73 luxury bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, brasserie, pool, spa and conference suite overlooking the lake. Accommodation is available.

We are recruiting for the position of Chef de Partie.
- Have good organisational skills and be comfortable working in a high-level pressured environment.
- Follow and manage all HACCAP procedures with the kitchen management team.
- All orders are checked and accounted for freshness and quality.
- Ensure the training and standards are always kept.
- Ensure the staffing levels are kept to the correct business levels.
- Run an organised efficient clean section.
- Ensure the highest levels of hygiene and safety are maintained at all times.
- Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production, presentation standards.
- To uphold the team SOPs given to you.
- Help to development of our kitchen garden, and growing cycles.
- Support other team members across the kitchen.
- Have a keen eye for detail.
- Committed and hungry to progress and grow your skills.
- Having a rosette background will be advantageous.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience. Attention to detail is a must, with the ability to work in a calm and professional manner whilst running your own kitchen section. Flexible approach, willingness to learn new techniques and a true team player.
- Share of monthly tips (circa £1 per hour worked)

Hourly rate – £11.85- £12.40, depending on experience. Full time, average of 40 hours per week.
