Qualifications
- Relevant Engineering qualification or related field; Green Belt in Continuous Improvement would be a benefit.
- Proven industry experience in a pharmaceutical or similar environment.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with current GMP and HSE requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Engineering to ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Collaborate with production departments to achieve shared goals.
- Lead maintenance engineers in equipment failure analysis and CAPA implementation.
- Report weekly KPIs to motivate staff within a continuous improvement culture.

We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the East Sussex area. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and compliance of all premises, equipment, and systems.
- Support the Head of Engineering to ensure all premises, equipment, and systems comply with current Health & Safety regulations, maintaining documentary evidence as needed.
- Collaborate with production departments to achieve shared goals for output, productivity, and machine efficiency.
- Lead and support maintenance engineers in analysing equipment failures and implementing effective CAPAs.
- Report weekly KPIs and communicate goal achievement to motivate staff within a continuous improvement culture.
