This role is ideal for a practitioner who takes pride in their craft, values continuous development, and thrives in a high‑standards, collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

About You

You are not just good at what you do. You strive to be better in every interaction. You combine strong manual therapy skills with evidence‑based practice and excellent client communication. You are confident working independently with a wide range of clients, from athletes to active individuals managing pain, recovery, and long‑term physical resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality sports massage treatments tailored to individual goals, performance demands, and injury history.
  • Use hands‑on skills and techniques appropriately to support pain management, movement quality, and recovery.
  • Use your clinical reasoning, understanding of pain science and person‑centred care to adapt approaches to best suit the clinical and personal needs of each client.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and adapt treatments accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with other practitioners to deliver integrated, client‑centred care, referring to physiotherapists when appropriate for further assessment, investigation and/or second opinion.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients through excellent communication and care.
  • Qualification in Sports Massage Therapy (Level 4 or equivalent).
  • British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT), Sports Massage Association (SMA), or Sports Therapy Association (STA) accreditation (or appropriate registration).
  • Relevant hands‑on experience in sports massage, ideally working with athletic, active, or high‑load populations.
  • Strong anatomical knowledge and clinical reasoning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including responding to patient emails in a timely manner.
  • Thoughtful, reliable, and client‑focused approach.
  • Maintain clear, professional records and uphold best practice standards.
  • Takes pride in setting outstanding professional standards, including timeliness, infection control & hygiene and professional appearance.
  • Hold the best interests of the client at heart, continually striving to deliver the highest standard of care, and asking yourself “how can this be done better?”
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Experience working with athletes, sports teams, or performance environments.
  • Experience in injury prevention, rehabilitation support, or collaboration with physiotherapists and coaches.
  • Certified and experienced in Acupuncture and Dry Needling.
What We Offer
  • A high‑quality clinical environment with a strong reputation and loyal client base.
  • Opportunity to work alongside skilled, like‑minded professionals.
  • Competitive remuneration, reflecting experience and expertise.
  • Flexible hours for the right candidate.
  • An environment that values professionalism, learning, and long‑term growth.
  • Opportunity for organised continued professional development.
