Job summary
An exciting opportunity for an HGV Class 2 Relief Driver at an innovative powered access hire company. The role involves safely delivering and collecting equipment, ensuring load security, and adhering to health and safety standards. Ideal candidates will possess a Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Ideally have previous experience of multi-drops.
- Preferably have previous experience in transporting, loading, and unloading plant/construction equipment.
- Understand the importance of excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect powered access equipment in a safe professional manner.
- Ensure security of load when loading/unloading, transporting and delivering equipment.
- Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks.
- Be an ambassador for the Company ensuring Health and Safety standards are adhered to.

With seven depots, a modern fleet of hire equipment and the latest purpose-built HGVs (32t HGV rigid) we are looking for a Class 2 Relief Driver to carry out deliveries and collections in a safe, compliant and professional manner. The ideal candidate will be looking for variety working as a relief driver.
Due to the expansion of our transport fleet, we are currently seeking an HGV Class 2 qualified driver to work out of our Reading depot (located in Aldermaston) carrying out deliveries and collections in a safe, compliant, and professional manner.

- To deliver and collect powered access equipment (cherry pickers and scissor lifts) in a safe professional manner
- To ensure security of load when loading/unloading, transporting and delivering equipment
- To carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks
- To be an ambassador for the Company ensuring Health and Safety standards and best safe working practices are adhered to always
- Ideally have previous experience of multi-drops
- Preferably have previous experience in transporting, loading and unloading plant/construction equipment. However, full training will be provided for the right candidate
- Understand the importance of excellent customer service
- Have the ability to work well under pressure
- HGV Class 2 licence
- Driver CPC
