We are seeking our next superstar who is passionate about supporting local industries. Having some background knowledge or experience in agriculture, farming, or quality assurance is preferred; however, this is an entry-level position, and full training will be provided to the right candidate.
We will help you kickstart your career by building your knowledge of quality compliance within the agriculture industry, developing your auditing skills, and helping you become a technical expert in your field.
As a successful applicant, you will receive comprehensive training to become a Recognised Farm Auditor. Once accredited, you will work from home, using your company vehicle to visit farms throughout your region.
You will be responsible for on-farm monitoring and auditing food safety, milk quality, animal health, and environmental practices. Working with farmers and their staff to ensure compliance with industry standards requires confident communication skills.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on and connecting with farmers and rural professionals daily.
As your experience grows, you will have opportunities to expand your skills in areas such as environmental management, animal welfare, and on-farm training.
Managing your own time, workload, and logistics is essential, along with the ability to think quickly. Physical fitness, good communication skills, and proficiency with digital technology are also required.
If successful, you will join our team as an Auditor, based in Timaru or Ashburton.
