Job summary
An online learning platform is seeking dedicated tutors for 1:1 instruction of ESL students. The role requires building a welcoming and adaptive environment to facilitate student growth. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree and three years of teaching experience in K-12 ELA, with a passion for helping students learn. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $20 per class, plus additional incentives. Applicants must be able to commit to at least 20 hours weekly and have reliable internet access.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA.
- Experience with K-12 ELA standards and curriculum.
- Experience teaching ESL learners.
- Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
- Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
- Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
- Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
- Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
