A leading ecommerce agency in the UK is looking for a Mid-Senior level SEO Specialist for a 12-month maternity cover role. This fully remote position requires 2-5 years of SEO experience and knowledge of GA4, Search Console, and Ahrefs. You'll lead SEO strategies for ecommerce clients and implement technical audits. The role offers top-notch equipment and benefits such as birthday off and early finishes on Fridays.

Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with the potential for a permanent opportunity as the agency continues to grow.
We’re Imaginaire — the human-led, tech-enabled ecommerce agency.
We help customer-focused brands grow their online sales through joined‑up SEO, PPC and CRO programmes.
We’re now looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join us on a 12-month fixed‑term contract to cover maternity leave. You’ll take ownership of several established ecommerce and service‑based accounts and be trusted to run campaigns with confidence and autonomy.
It’s a hands‑on, strategic role suited to someone who’s already performing at a mid‑senior level and wants to make a visible impact in a growing agency.
- Lead SEO strategy and delivery for ecommerce clients and local business clients.
- Carry out technical audits and implement improvements.
- Manage keyword research, content optimisation and link acquisition.
- Use our proprietary technology, GA4, Search Console and Ahrefs to surface insights and opportunities.
- Present results and recommendations to clients clearly and confidently.
- Collaborate with PPC, CRO and dev teams to deliver joined‑up growth.
- 2‑5 years’ SEO experience (ideally agency side).
- Strong technical, on‑page and off‑page SEO knowledge.
- Confident with GA4, Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and Looker Studio.
- Data‑driven mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Experience with ecommerce and/or Shopify is a bonus.
- Fully remote (you're welcome to use our office if you're nearby, though!)
- Top of the range Apple equipment
- Birthday off – if your birthday falls on a working day, you can take it off without impacting your holiday entitlement
- Christmas close down – we close between Christmas and New Year
- Early finish Fridays – we finish 1 hour earlier on Fridays
