FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $21-$23/hour
Date: 2026-2027
The Assistant Patrol Director supports the Patrol Director in managing ski and bike patrol operations. Responsibilities include assisting with the supervision of patrollers who provide emergency medical services, conduct search and rescue operations, perform lift evacuations, and identify and mitigate hazardous mountain conditions to ensure guest safety.
Functions: Performs all Essential Functions of a Ski or Bike Patroller, as well as assisting the Patrol Director, providing leadership and oversight of patrol operations.
NOTE: All Bolton Valley employees are required to perform alternate functions from time to time, both within and outside of their assigned department, particularly during peak periods such as holiday weekends.
Position involves skiing/snowboarding and hauling equipment such as toboggans and backboards on all terrain. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs., bend and twist to load a toboggan or backboard and maneuver a loaded toboggan while skiing. Able to stay professional and calm in all situations.
This position involves working outside in all weather conditions, including extreme cold, snow, wind and rain, on varied snow surfaces, and requires being on your feet for extended periods of time.
Patroller has frequent customer contact while providing services to the customer and representing the resort in uniform. Must be helpful, friendly, courteous and professional in accordance with Bolton’s commitment to providing superior customer service.
