We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Psychiatrist to join the Psych Health private psychiatry service – a vital part of our innovative and growing Psychiatric Pathway Team. In this role, you’ll work within a forward-thinking organisation that’s committed to delivering the highest standard of professional psychiatric care. The service can be tailored to your needs and delivered remotely using telehealth tools.

Why Choose Us?

At Health Partners Group, we pride ourselves on fostering a supportive, collaborative, and flexible working environment that allows our clinicians to thrive. As a Psychiatrist in our PsychHealth service, you will benefit from:

  • Diverse and rewarding caseloads: Tackle a wide range of mental health conditions, with a balanced mix of new assessments and follow-ups.
  • Support at every step: Access to in-house psychological therapists and dedicated administrative support, so you can focus entirely on patient care.
  • Flexibility to suit your lifestyle: Choose working hours that best fit your schedule, with options for morning, afternoon, and evening sessions.
  • Remote working: Deliver care from the comfort of your home, supported by cutting-edge IT systems that enable you to work seamlessly from anywhere in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide remote assessments and ongoing treatment for individuals with a wide variety of mental health disorders accessing our private psychiatry pathway.
  • Manage a mix of new and follow-up patient consultations, referring patients to our in-house Psychologist Therapists where appropriate.
  • Produce strong clinical reports with detailed assessments and recommendations, and provide medical advisory support to clients across a variety of sectors.
  • (Optional) Deliver occupational psychiatry services if you have relevant experience or wish to develop this interest (we can support you obtaining DipOccMed).
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional care is provided (over 100 Physicians working together).
  • Act as an ambassador for Health Partners, reflecting our CORE values in everything you do:
    • Caring – Putting people at the heart of what we do.
    • One Team – Working together across diverse backgrounds.
    • Relationships – Building trust and fostering open communication.
    • Excellence – Delivering the highest standard of clinical care.
What we are looking for

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Psychiatrist who shares our passion for improving mental health outcomes. In order to apply, you must be a qualified Psychiatrist with a medical degree, GMC registration, and inclusion on the Specialist Register as a Psychiatrist.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with adults with mental health disorders and a proven track record as an Accredited Specialist in Psychiatry. You will have experience working successfully within a multidisciplinary team and a strong understanding of UK legislation and case law relevant to the scope of practice.

Experience conducting remote assessments and consultations is highly desirable. The successful candidate will possess a broad understanding of psychological symptoms and conditions, strong clinical report-writing skills, and effective problem-solving abilities. Additionally, experience in psychiatry service development and leading medical advisory work for clients across different sectors would be an advantage.

Whetheryou’re experienced in occupational psychiatry or looking to expand your expertise in this area, we encourage you to apply and explore this exciting opportunity to make a difference.

What We Offer
  • Professional development: Engage in ongoing CPD, audit activities, and annual clinical appraisals to support your growth, revalidation, and re-licensing.
  • Robust clinical governance: Be part of an organisation renowned for its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care.
  • Innovative care delivery: Join a service that embraces telehealth, meeting the evolving needs of patients and delivering flexible, accessible care.
