A civic and social organization is seeking a Trainee Campaign Officer for an unpaid internship in Bristol. This part-time remote role involves advocacy, fundraising, recruitment, and marketing tasks. Successful candidates will demonstrate a passion for fighting poverty and possess strong communication skills. Interns can earn college credit and choose their start dates each month.

This internship is unpaid, with college credit available. It is a part-time remote programme: 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the programme in fewer weeks.
Advocacy Leadership Development - Meet with members of Government in your District/Constituency; represent The Borgen Project at various business, political and community events; mobilise individuals to contact their members of Government in support of key poverty-reduction legislation.
Fundraising Development - Learn how to fundraise. Create a personal fundraising campaign and meet targets.
Recruitment - Update job postings; inform groups and classes of openings, introduction to recruitment platforms and listen in to interviews.
Marketing and Promotion - Pitch story ideas to print, broadcast and digital media and utilise social media and develop strategies for web-based messaging.
Experience - No prior experience is necessary. We’re looking for people who are passionate about fighting poverty and righting wrongs, regardless of your GPAs/background.
Details - This is an unpaid internship, although college credit is available.
Start Date - New programmes begin every month; you choose the month you wish to start.
