In this role y ou will worok both individually and as part of a wider team to install, maintain and repair our wide range of technologically advanced imaging equipment.Please note we have two Field Service Engineer positions available in the South West district. One will be an MRI focussed role and the successful candidate would ideally be based in the Bristol area. The second role would be primarily Cardiff / Newport based and focussed on Diagnostic X Ray (DXR) and Image Guided Therapy (IGT) focussed.**You are responsible for*** Operating at an advanced technical level to provide expert advice & solutions to our customers and colleagues.* Providing field based and remote technical support to customers and colleagues in line with relevant training and experience.* Carrying out corrective, preventative, installation and field change order activities on complex healthcare systems.* Diagnosing mechanical, hardware and software system failures using established procedures and information.* Determining most cost effective repair/solution to minimize customer downtime.* Actively participating in an ongoing rotation with the Field Service Engineer team, providing customers with direct remote support in a 5 by 7 working pattern.**You are a part of a** regional team of collaborative Field Service Engineers who are expected to work to the highest standards to ensure first class service is delivered to our customer base whilst ensuring Quality & Regulatory standards are adhered to in this heavily regulated industry.You are reporting directly to the District Service Delivery Manager for the South West.**To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following*** HNC (NVQ Level 3 or higher) or Degree in Electro-engineering or equivalent highly desirable* Experienced logical problem solver with ability to work independently* Experienced in carrying out corrective and preventative works for Imaging Systems devices and equipment desirable* The ability to process knowledge across multi-modality and diverse product ranges* Recognize new technologies and adapts to daily challenges* Deliver high levels of customer service* Competent in IT/Network diagnosis/system connectivity/Remote service desirable* You are currently living in the South West region, ideally around Bristol or Cardiff areasDue to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) criminal record check will be required for this role.**In return, we offer you** a challenging, innovative environment with great opportunities for you to explore.
