A healthcare organization in Birmingham is seeking a Clinical Support Engineer to onboard clinicians and support remote healthcare consultations. The ideal candidate will ensure clinicians are well-equipped with necessary tools, like EMIS Web and Microsoft 365, and create training materials to support their onboarding process. Strong communication skills and a background in UK healthcare are essential for this role.
We’re looking for a Clinical Support Engineer who loves helping clinicians feel confident, supported, and fully equipped to deliver safe, effective remote care. In this role, you’ll be the person who makes sure new clinicians can hit the ground running. This includes setting up their accounts, devices or virtual desktops, EMIS Web access, smartcards, video consultation tools, AI scribe tools, and everything they need for day‑one success. You’ll combine solid technical know‑how with clear communication, patience, and the ability to translate clinical workflows into simple digital steps. You’ll also play an active role in exploring and rolling out new Digital Health tools; from ambient AI scribes to video platforms and patient self‑service tools.
We understand that not all candidates will meet every requirement listed above. As a general guideline, if you meet at least 70% of the criteria, we encourage you to apply and include a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer sponsorship at this time.
