Job summary
A leading fusion energy organization in the UK is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the STEP programme. This role involves managing project delivery, adhering to standards, and collaborating with stakeholders. The successful candidate will have proven project management experience, preferably with knowledge of fusion energy and related methodologies. With a budget responsibility of up to £10m, this role is pivotal in steering projects to successful completion while ensuring compliance with regulations and governance standards. - Proven experience in project management, preferably within a related industry or sector.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with different project management methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience of managing budgets/financial project management within projects up to £10m.
Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of projects and workstreams within the STEP programme.
- Develop a comprehensive Project Management Plan to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Ensure delivery of project activities in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
