A leading broadcasting company in Southampton offers a Level 3 Production Apprenticeship. This full-time, fixed-term position allows you to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of production, including radio and digital media. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have lived in the UK for the last three years. Training is provided through the BBC Academy, leading to a recognized qualification. This opportunity is ideal for those passionate about music and radio, eager to learn and contribute in a dynamic environment.
Contract Type: Fixed‑Term Apprenticeship, Full‑time for 13 months
Location: Southampton – Radio Solent
Salary: £22,950
This apprenticeship gives you the chance to kick‑start a career in British broadcasting, working behind the scenes on a range of productions from drama to live radio. You will learn on the job, develop your production knowledge and work toward a recognised Level 3 Production Assistant qualification.
To be eligible you must be 18 years old or over, have lived in the UK for the last 3 years, be legally eligible to work full‑time in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship, and not currently be in another apprenticeship programme.
For applicants aged 19 or under who do not meet the GCSE/Functional Skills criteria, the scheme will arrange an additional assessment to fulfil the expected baseline knowledge.
