We are currently supporting our client seeking a skilled Fire Risk Assessor to join the talented service team, a well-established company with a head office in Hereford; this role will be based at Hinckley Point C. The company offers fire extinguishers, temporary alarms and monitoring across the fire safety sector. The successful candidate will conduct high-quality fire risk assessments on a range of customer sites across the construction industry.
- Conduct fire risk assessments on customer sites
- Complete all risk assessment documentation on time and to a high standard
- Maintain a good understanding of relevant British Standards and fire safety legislation
- Act as point of contact for customer technical queries
- Maintain industry knowledge of fire alarm, emergency lighting and signage design specifications
- Attend customer-facing meetings when required
- Work remotely with autonomy
- Manage own diary in line with customer requirements
- Recognised Fire Risk Assessment level 4 qualification from FPA/IFE/FIA or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- As this is a field-based role, travelling to and from site is required
- Health and Safety (IOSH/NEBOSH)
- Relevant fire/safety training (FIA/FPA etc.)
- Industry knowledge of fire alarm, emergency lighting and signage design/specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm (3 days on site, 2 days working from home)
- Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum
