A renowned holiday resort group is seeking a Grounds and Hot Tub Maintenance Assistant to support the maintenance team at their location in Cumbria. This part-time role requires flexible working hours and a driving licence due to the use of site vehicles. Key responsibilities include maintaining the property, handling guest maintenance requests, and ensuring hot tubs are clean. Responsibilities
- Assist the maintenance team with the upkeep of company buildings and guest accommodation.
- Respond to maintenance requests from guests on site.
- Assist with renovation projects and attend planned daily maintenance tasks.
- Complete necessary paperwork following repairs and maintenance.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining all hot tubs on change‑over days.
- Assist with grass cutting, strimming, edging, weeding borders, and clearing pathways.
- Ensure the retreat is kept clear and free of debris.

Title: Grounds and Hot Tub Maintenance Assistant at Thanet Well in Penrith, Cumbria
Hourly rate: £12.50
This is a permanent, part‑time position, working 24 hours across 3 days (Monday, Friday & Saturday). Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

- Assist the maintenance team with the upkeep of company buildings and guest accommodation.
- Respond to maintenance requests from guests on site.
- Assist with renovation projects and attend planned daily maintenance tasks.
- Complete any necessary paperwork following repairs and maintenance.
- Assist with the cleaning and maintaining of all hot tubs on change‑over days.
- Assist the grounds team to ensure the appearance of the retreat is kept up to its five‑star standard.
- Assist with grass cutting and strimming, edging and weeding borders and clearing pathways.
- Ensure the retreat is kept clear and free of debris.
Previous maintenance/grounds experience is an advantage. A positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills is desirable. A driving licence and the ability to drive is essential for this role due to the use of site buggies/vehicles.
