A major NHS trust is seeking a Specialty Doctor to cover maternity leave until September 2026. The role includes assisting in patient care, participating in ward rounds, and performing surgical procedures as required. Candidates must have a full GMC license and be adept at collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. This opportunity offers a salary between £61,542 and £99,216 per annum, along with flexible working hours and benefits related to professional development.

The appointment is to the Trust, not to specific hospitals. All employees, including the appointee, will be expected to be involved in implementing the Trust's Clinical Governance programme, including active participation in clinical audit, quality, clinical guidelines/pathways, professional development, appraisal and risk management.
On‑call activity is exclusively at Norfolk and Norwich, accepting both local referrals and regional referrals from allied units in Great Yarmouth, Kings Lynn and Ipswich hospital. The rota is based on an approximately 1:11 non‑resident out of hours on call, providing week night and weekend cover. Compensatory rest is included following on call and hours are monitored in line with SAS contracts. The on call duties are to provide the first tier on‑call cover for the Maxillofacial service with Consultant for senior support.
