A global food and beverage company is seeking a Part Time LASR Driver for their Distribution Centre in Scarborough, England. This role requires a valid G Class Driver’s License and includes responsibilities like truck inspections, preparing daily routes, and safely transporting products. Qualifications
- Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Experience with a 5-ton vehicle considered an asset.
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to complete routes safely in all weather conditions.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities
- Conducting pre/post-trip truck inspections.
- Preparing daily route trucks with accurate product selection.
- Verifying order accuracy prior to delivery.
- Safely transporting product to and from a specified location.
- Loading and unloading product to and from box trucks.
- Completing required paperwork (Daily driver logs, etc.).
- Verifying and retrieving all carton returns and product returns.
- Sort, tie and stack cardboard, conducting physical inventories as required.
- Interacting with customers and warehouse personnel daily.
- Delivering business results by meeting target goals.
- Complying with all DOT and NSC regulations.

PepsiCo Foods Canada has current openings for a Part Time LASR Driver at our Distribution Centre in Scarborough.
Flexibility in scheduling is a key requirement for this position.
- Conducting pre/post-trip truck inspections to ensure proper and safe handling conditions
- I involved in preparing daily route trucks with accurate product selection following pre-printed pick sheets
- Verifying order accuracy prior to delivery
- Safely transporting product to and from a specified location, in a pre-determined sequence
- Loading and unloading product to and from box trucks
- Completing required paperwork (Daily driver logs, Signature of Receipts, etc.)
- Verifying and retrieving all carton returns, product returns, and other return items
- Sort, tie and stack cardboard, as well as conduct physical inventories as required
- Interacting with customers, sales team, and warehouse personnel on a daily basis
- Ability to deliver business results by meeting and exceeding target goals
- Complying with all DOT and NSC regulations
