A veterinary service provider in Bangor is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to manage client interactions and appointments. This full-time role requires delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining accurate records for clients and their pets. The candidate should thrive in a team environment and possess multitasking skills, with prior experience in a veterinary context being a plus. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. Your role will involve delivering outstanding customer service, managing appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk. You will work closely with our veterinary team to provide an exceptional experience for our clients and their pets.
In this role, you will warmly greet clients and their pets both in person and over the phone. You'll be responsible for managing appointment scheduling, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling as needed. Key administrative tasks include answering phone calls, responding to emails, and processing paperwork. You'll also maintain accurate client and patient records and provide updates to clients regarding their pets' care and treatment plans. You will be mainly based at our Holywood branch.

This full-time position requires 40 hours of work per week. The shifts will be between 8:00am-7:30pm with Saturdays on a rota basis from 8:30am-1:00pm.
The ideal candidate will excel in a team environment and be client focused. You should be adept at multitasking and have prior experience in a fast-paced setting, preferably within a veterinary context. Experience in managing sensitive and confidential information, meeting tight deadlines, and using IT systems is essential.
