Full time, Hybrid working

The General Ledger team’s primary responsibilities include month end Group reporting. The team is also responsible for ensuring all Balance Sheet reconciliations are done to an acceptable standard. Resolving all queries raised by external audit is also a priority at year end.

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure monthly sales, costs, accruals, and prepayments are accurate and well-justified.
  • Prepare monthly cost and headcount reports to support business insight and variance analysis.
  • Work closely with Finance Business Partners to align on actuals, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Track headcount and labour costs to support planning and forecasting.
  • Meet month-end deadlines with timely balance sheet analysis and reconciliations.
  • Support both internal and external audit processes with required documentation.
  • Help develop and implement best practice finance processes across the UK and Europe.
  • Provide flexible support to other areas of the business as part of a shared resource team.

About you:

  • Proven experience in a similar operational or management accounting role.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP FICO or similar ERP financial systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyse complex data.
  • Forward-thinking mindset – proactive, solutions-oriented, and always looking for ways to improve processes and performance.
  • Engaging and collaborative – a team player who brings enthusiasm and energy to the role.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships in a matrix environment.
  • Fluent in English (business language) and Latvian
