Community Recovery Coach: Group Facilitation & Support
Job summary
An established recovery service in Tees Valley is looking for a Community Coach to support the development and implementation of group activities aimed at helping individuals on their recovery journey. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading groups, an understanding of addiction and recovery, and relevant qualifications in health and social care. This role requires flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive environment. Additional training in health and safety is provided as needed.
Qualifications
- Level 2 accredited qualification in coaching, counselling or health & social care-related areas is essential.
- Candidates must respect and believe in Equality and Diversity Practices.
- Understanding of Recovery Capital and the CHIME Model is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and running group activities to support individuals.
- Provide general information and advice about recovery support.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary review meetings and complete reports.
