We have an exciting opportunity to join Team Ipsum at our site in Wrexham. You will require previous Plant Operating / HGV Class 2 Hiab experience, ideally within the utilities or construction industry, to oversee and control HGV and plant machinery associated with substation activities. This role ensures operations conform to all safety standards and laws, including client network requirements and practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Maintain HGV / Plant safety and site & highway compliance.
- Report any malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Monitor service and inspection regimes and times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure functionality of required equipment.
- Previous experience as a plant operator with a HGV Class 2 Hiab licence is required.
- Strong understanding of plant machinery and HGV vehicles and equipment.
- Valid UK driving licence and/or appropriate certification to operate heavy machinery and equipment.
- Technical certification such as Level 2 NVQ would be advantageous.
