Planning Validation Assistant – Hybrid (Entry Level)
Job summary
A local government authority in Sevenoaks is looking for an entry-level Planning Validation Assistant to support the Planning department. The role involves registering and assessing applications, providing customer support, and ensuring compliance. Ideal candidates will have good customer service experience and strong organisational skills. This full-time position offers a hybrid working model, requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days at home.
Qualifications
- Experience in a customer-facing role is ideal.
- Knowledge of Planning services is desirable; full training will be provided.
- Strong organisational and detail-oriented skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Planning department by registering and assessing applications.
- Ensure smooth processing of all Planning applications.
- Liaise with customers about their applications, providing advice and guidance.
- Maintain accurate and compliant applications, ensuring they follow correct procedures.
- Bring excellent attention to detail and an organized approach.
