A leading plant hire company in Highweek is seeking a Depot Manager for its Newton Abbot Plant Hire Branch. This role includes oversight of all depot operations, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and budgets. Eagle Plant are an Employee Owned Business – meaning everyone who works for us is a part owner (“Co-owner”) of the business whilst they remain employed by Wessex Eagle Limited. The financial interests of the employees are held in Trust and managed by the Trustee Board, two of which are elected Co-owners.

As the Depot Manager you will ensure that all operational work is carried out within agreed budgets and timescales in accordance with Company standards and ensure the Company’s reputation is maintained through adherence to Quality and Customer Care procedures.

In addition to your main responsibilities as a Depot Manager, you will also:
The post holder must maintain the confidentiality of all information about staff, customers and all other aspects of the business, in particular compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
All employees must be aware of the responsibilities placed upon them under the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974, to ensure that the agreed safety procedures are carried out to maintain a safe environment for all employees and visitors. The Company’s safety and environmental procedures are listed within the QHSE Handbook issued to all employees.
