A leading telecom services provider in the UK is seeking a Network Security Support Specialist to provide operational support for network security infrastructure. The role involves monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with security policies. Candidates should have professional certifications such as CCNA or CCNP, and at least 3 years of experience in network security. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.
This role will be within our Private networks. We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.
You’ll work as part of an Operational Support team and will provide operational support to the network security architecture. You’ll have a good understanding of IP network architectures and Network Security and work well as part of a team. Whilst the role is office working hours you will need to be on a rota for emergency OOH support. At times travel will be required to go to the customer's sites which are in Warwickshire and Wokingham or to data centres throughout the UK. Due to the nature of the on‑call, you must hold a valid driving licence with reasonable means to a vehicle.
