As the Media Developer Storyboarder you’ll support the Integrated Training Design Service to deliver learning that is blended, active and provides customer delight.**Skills and Experience****Requirements*** Demonstrate a passion for training transformation and continuous improvement.* Demonstrate previous experience from a Learning and Development role.* Demonstrate experience of creating media content and using tools such as Rapid Authoring and the MS Office suite.* Have previously designed instructional training using storyboarding.* Demonstrate excellent IT skills with the ability to use in-house systems as well as a wide range of platforms including MS office and use of Sharepoint.* Demonstrate an enthusiasm to learn, collaborate, communicate, demonstrate best practice within the business, customers and the wider team.* Demonstrate attention to detail, a passion for quality, be able to plan, multitask, deliver on time and work independently.* Demonstrate previous experience with development tools such as Learning Management System and Learning Content Management Systems.**Desirable*** ADDIE model and Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).* Understanding of Quality Assurance processes.**Responsibilities*** Accountable for all media tasks assigned to you with regards to training transformation. An advocate for the creation of media that is not only active and engaging, but also inclusive and learner centric.* Supporting the Media team in the production of interactive, innovative and engaging media content, adhering to the Courseware and Media production process.* Write storyboard design with detailed content outlining actions with* compelling and engaging content including scripts, scenes and general text.* Review storyboards to ensure they adhere to high-quality standards and procedures.* Communicate clearly the detailed specifications in the storyboard for media developers to fully understand the requirement and guide when necessary.* Validate the media development against the storyboard and key learning points (KLP’s).* Analyse and interpret equipment functionality, systems and processes towards developing those actions for storyboarding media content for training lessons.* Building strong stakeholder relationships with subject matter experts to positively contribute towards training transformation.* Working collaboratively with customers and colleagues to update storyboard design reviews adhering to project deadlines.* Maintain and adhere to asset management of electronic files, admin systems and document management control.* Responsible for the continuous professional development of yourself.* Adhering to the Quality Assurance procedures and standards.* Ensure compliance with MoD & Raytheon (Team Fisher) policies, regulations, and procedures.* Employees are responsible for their own Health and Safety and that of work colleagues and customers.* Follow security standards and system requirements to protect data and ensure smooth operations.* Any other duties required to support the Integrated Training Design Service.* Occasional travel to other customer sites may be required.**Benefits and Work Culture****Benefits*** Competitive salaries.* 25 days holiday + statutory public holidays, plus opportunity to buy and sell up to 5 days (37hr)* Contributory Pension Scheme (up to 10.5% company contribution)* Company bonus scheme (discretionary).* 6 times salary ‘Life Assurance’ with pension.* Flexible Benefits scheme with extensive salary sacrifice schemes, including Health Cashplan, Dental, and Cycle to Work amongst others.* Enhanced sick pay.* Enhanced family friendly policies including enhanced maternity, paternity & shared parental leave.* Car / Car allowance (dependant on grade/ role)* Private Medical Insurance (dependant on grade)**Work Culture*** 37hr working week, although hours may vary depending on role, job requirement or site-specific arrangements.* Early 1.30pm finish Friday, start your weekend early!* Remote, hybrid and site based working opportunities, dependant on your needs and the requirements of the role.* A grownup flexible working culture that is output, not time spent at desk, focussed.
