Why We Need You

As a Commercial Account Executive I, you’ll play a key role in driving new revenue by identifying and developing opportunities across both new logo and existing customer accounts. You’ll bring proven experience in prospecting, running discovery conversations and demos, and will be ready to build your skills in negotiating and closing new business with plenty of support from us along the way.

You’ll be curious about your customers, understand their use cases, and know how to engage across multiple departments and industries. Success in this role means confidently going after new business, building trusted relationships, and shaping the way customers use Box.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, which includes prospecting, conducting discovery calls and demos, negotiating deals, and closing new & existing business across all industries in the Small Medium Business segment (1‑2000 employees).
  • Conduct thorough research to understand your customers and prospects better. Gain insight into their unique business challenges and how Box can provide value.
  • Drive the sales process by influencing key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Develop a comprehensive territory plan that covers all aspects of your target market.
  • Schedule visits to meet customers face‑to‑face within your assigned territory.
Who You Are
  • 2+ years of experience in a Lead Generation role with a proven track record of success
  • Prior success in technology sales is preferred
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn about Box’s product, new technologies, the industry, and your customer’s businesses
  • Clear examples of successfully having thorough qualification methodologies
  • Effectively utilizes a repeatable method for identifying untapped opportunities and expanding into new territories
